The Power of Dreams

When you lack confidence you sometimes hide away from confrontations, don’t stand up for yourself and stay stuck in one spot. You avoid adventures because it’s safer.

In my picture book ‘The Power of Dreams’, a story of a little boy is depicted in this exact situation. Because of the lack of confidence, he is unable to do the things he would like to do. When he has an adventurous dream, he travels through a path full of obstacles and triumphs, and learns how much fun it is to investigate, that you are able to overcome your fears and that the world is too beautiful to stay stuck in one place forever. I want to tell how sweet it is to love yourself, and that you’re allowed to have a little more confidence to go out on those amazing adventures life can offer you.
