Resonating Landscapes

The Aboriginals honour the land with their Songlines and believe that the land will stop existing if these songs will not be sung. For me this sounds like the land is resonating to these songs. Because of these songs they have a very strong connection with the landscapes they live in. While playing this installation the landscape and sounds start to take shape and make a whole. This way the viewer can explore what the features and loose elements are that make the landscape complete. With this installation I want to bring the participant closer to the landscape that often passes by unperceived.
