Both I and others make assumptions. We are taught unambiguous values and functions that determine how we attach ourselves to objects. I myself have a misunderstanding of valuations: I want to put values into perspective, recognise or emphasise relativity and look for a way to deal with hierarchy.
In my process of reconsideration I acquire endless possibilities. Possibilities related to how an object can be seen, used and displayed. Every option is equally important. The equality with which I handle images and thoughts results in series, bundles and collections. As a maker, I see what results in an image as a consequence. My “work” is not a definitive product of my research, merely temporary results. Coincidence is an important source of inspiration that I aim to use in my process. Coincidence has no hierarchy. It confronts. Surprises.
